How to use ashampoo dvd writer but i donot know why it is not recording my movies from windows moview maker?

i have a samsung cam corderand a got them edit on movie maker and then transfer on a dvd with the help of ashampoo dvd writer.but formet is not being accepted .how can i got write my dvd.how to know what formet is requred and hot to change the formet?

Movie Maker saves files as a .wmv file. Your DVD program probably doesn't accept those files because, honestly, not a lot of programs do. But there IS a solution. There is a program called media converter that you can download (just follow the link below) and it will convert your videos whichever format you choose. Your DVD program will like accept the .avi for mat or the .mpeg format. Hope that helps you
