How to use borax to kill or repell roaches?

ok I read somewhere that someone who had a bad roach problem used dry borax in certain places like cabinets and under furniture etc..... ok I got that part but she also mentioned that she uses a mixture of borax and water to wipe down counters and to spray around base boards. She failed to mention how much borax and water to add :-(

Does anyone else out there use it mixed with water in a spray bottle and how much of each do u use? HELP!!! I really want to spray it around my base boards.

  1. just put some in a bottle like a salt shaker and shake some around the baseboard and in the shelves of kitchen cabinets.  it is harmless to us but ants hate it. roaches and crickets also.if you water and boric acid put about1/4 measuring cup of powder and 1 gallon of water, shake well each and every time you use it

  2. use it dry.it will kill roaches, ants, fleas.

use around baseboards for ants and roaches. you can even add a little coco powder as an attractant.

for fleas, just sprinkle it right on you carpet after vacuuming. it's not very toxic so there isn't much worry of poisoning.

it works as a desiccator (dries the critters out) and also clogs their digestive tract. it really does work but i think dry is much better-it doesn't take that much either.also, static will make it stick to the critter-dry.
