how do i get the fish of the hook using disgorgers

Disgorgers are used when the hook is too deep in the mouth for you to remove it with your hands or pliers or if you have hooked something with teeth, like a pike. You basically just grip the hook with the disgorger and gently try to back it out. If you can't back it out, or if it's in the throat or stomach, then cut the line or hook shank, you can either remove it during cleaning, or if released, it will eventually work out on it's own. You should never rip a hook out of a fish to be released, because this reduced survival rate.
