How to use fiberglass?

Question

I'm into making longboards, but I have to make a board very thick for it to have the kind of strength I want, and then with thickness comes less flexibility. I did some research on it and I found that fiberglass would be good to use, but I don't know how. Does any one know how? Also, I'm not sure what resin and hardener is.

were ever you get or going to get you f/glass from,i`m sure someone there will tell you how to use it,or go to a shop were they sell the boards and ask the "dude" that works there

or you can go to google.com and  type "how to make a fiberglass surf/snow board and get 16.500 results like i just did,plus they have videos on you tube

First you will need a board, styrofoam or whatever you are going to use for your pattern. After you have made your board then you fiberglass it. Fiberglass comes is a fabric that you put on your board, making sure it is smoothed out with no wrinkles. After your board is covered with the fabric, then you mix the resin and hardner and paint it on. Let it dry and do it again as many times as you think you need, each layer will give extra strength. The resin and hardner are epoxy, not much differen mixing and using that epoxy glue.
