How to use ichat on apple computers?

no its free!! lol if you go to iChat on ur Mac than in the top left corner where it says iChat, go to preferences than go to accounts and just make one! XD good luck!

No, you do not have to pay. There is no such thing as an "iChat account," you use iChat with either AIM (which you can sign up for for free at aim.com) or you can use it with .mac. If you have leopard you can also use it with Jabber or Google talk (you only have google talk if you have a gmail account)
