I want to use the built-in wireless and wired NIC in my laptop as a wireless bridge between my video phone and my wireless access point. The video phone only has an ethernet port. Do you think this setup can work? I am thinking I can use a cross over cable between the two devices but have no idea what to do with network settings in my laptop.

  1. in the network connections window, highlight both and select bridge.  This will allow internet access on the Ethernet port.
