  1. Unless you have really oily skin...NO you don't need to set it with loose powder.

However, to make this last you can use a primer, MAC sells PREP&PRIME face protect spf 50. Or you can get smashbox photofinish primer.

I really do reccommend for flawless results..GET A KABUKI BRUSH if you can get the 182 kabuki from MAC thats great (4 something dollars) if not get the POSH Kabuki brush, you can get this at Kmart for $12.

Really it does make a difference i use the posh kabuki brush and studio fix powder and my foundation is flawless and even i love it.

You can also use the kabuki to but on blush !

so definantly something to get for your studio fix powder..a kabuki

I don't reccommend you using the sponge, if you do, throw it away after 3 uses, all it does is collect bacteria, then you load it on your face and you get all these pimples and what not!

So definantly get a brush (kabuki) and if you plan to get more brushes get a brush cleaner or search on how to clean brushes on youtube.

clean your brush every week. (end of the week) :)

    Hope this helped!

  2. You definitely DO NOT need to apply loose powder after applying Studio Fix, unless you have incredibly oily skin.

It already has a lovely velvety + matte effect, and when I tried it once with powder, it looked cakey and overdone.
