How to use nintendo wii wifi?

If I want to play a game on my wii against somebody in a different state how do i use wifi do do it

Wii Fit for the most part is a 1 player game.  The only 2-player game that I know of doesn't involve the balance board, but just the remotes.

There is no wi-fi connectivity with it.

The best way to play this against a friend in another state is by phone or e-mail take notes of your starting numbers, and compare notes as you play the game for weight loss/gain, scores on mini-games, etc.

As far as I know, currently, you can't.  You can only download games or check news and weather and have your Miis go into the Mii plaza of the people you contact, so long as you have their Wii email.  

Last I heard Nintendo was coming out with on-line game play towards the end of this year to early next year.  But you might have to buy some extra peripherals to accomplish this.

Wow, some of these people need to learn how to read. Where is wii fit coming from? To play online in any game with wifi, you need either a wireless router, or a wifi usb connecter. On your wii connections select wireless connection, search for access point, sometimes you can steal a neighbors connection. Or buy the router and you'll be fine. 30-50 bucks for a cheap one and about 70 for a good one.

to see if it has wi-fi, check the cover and it will say in blue,wi-fi connection. For example, the mario kart wii and the super smash bros. have wi-fi. If you you have wireless it would be connection 3 on wii settings to set the internet connection up. Wireless connection you would be set on it=nterenet to play against other people in the world

I'm sorta confused about your question..

I'm assuming you are not connected to the internet yet.  In that case, open up your gray Wii manual, and on one page there's a flow chart that tells you how to go on WiFi.

Only certain games can go on WiFi though, you have to see if it has the little blue circle in the corner of the game that says WiFi.
