How to use the sand pump waste

we have an 24' round above ground pool. We have a sand filter. We do not know how to use the waste to get rid of algae in bottom of the pool, what is the equipment needed and step by step what do we do?

Contact a local pool supply store and tell them what pool cleaning equipment you already have in the way of hoses. brushes, etc.. They will tell you what additional items you may need and how to operate the filter. There are some pump-operates automatic pool sweepers that you may find very time saving.

They will advise you on a water treatment system and can tell you how to set it up and maintain it to control algae and bacteria.
