How to use the usc icon for autocad 2000?

i need to rotate a cirlce so it looks like a tube shape and against a wall....while in 3d view..NWisometric...i was told i need to use the usc icon but i dont know how

  1. use the front back and left right views to move the circle. if that donts work then try typeing in ucs and then view and that sould work.


  2. The views will help you look at the object from a different point of view but even if you try to draw your circle without changing your UCS then it will still be in the default WCS.

    If your UCS icon is not already on, type in the command line:

    UCSICON

    ON

    Then I would change the viewpoint to isometric:

    VPOINT

    1,-1,1

    So from there can see which way your UCS is rotating.  To change you UCS orientation:

    UCS

    x  <---to rotate around the x axis

    or

    y <---to rotate around the y axis

    or

    z <---to rotate around the z axis

    Then press enter to keep the default 90 degrees or put your angle to rotate.  So from there you can see where your X,Y plane is and you can draw you circle.  If you want to go back to the default X,Y plane:

    UCS

    WORLD

    And to make your circle a tube shape:

    Extrude

    "select your circle"

    Enter

    Type a height, for example 4

    I think that's it.
