How do I view the html code in a webpage I am creating, using MS

Word so that I can change something in the code to update the webpage.

  1. Can't in Word as it is not an HTML Editor.  It might save files as *.html, but it writes lousy code and uses proprietary schema code from Microsoft that only Internet Explorer and other Microsoft products that open web pages will understand.  It is a well know html code blogger unless you use a cleaner.

    You could drag and drop the html file in an open browser window, right-click and choose View Source.  This should open the default editor where you can edit your code directly.  Just be sure to save changes in same extension.

    I recommend using a real HTML editor.  If you need to use a visual editor, then try NVU or Kompozer: http://www.nvu.com/
