How to volunteer at an animal shelter at age 13?

i would like to help with the animals at any animal shelter in Mansfield or Arlington Texas, but I just can't find one. Does anyone know of one???

i volunteer at the SPCA in Raleigh, NC....my daughter had to work with me until she turned 16, after that she could volunteer on her own..maybe one of ur parents would be willing to volunteer with you..i know all animal shelters are always in great need of volunteers...

You're probably too young.  Most places i know of don't hire people under age 15, but it wont hurt to call.
