How to wash a Jansport backpack? Please help! :)

I have a red Jansport backpack. It says to hand-wash only. Will washing it in warm, soapy water take out a stain on it, or will I need something stronger? The stain was made by grapes being left in the backpack, and it bled through.... (thanks goes to my brother). Please help!

Soak in cold water overnight with plenty of salt in it. Wash on its own in a cool wash. Regards. UK

Giving it a good washing and scrubbing should be able to take the stain out of the backpack.  Make sure to pre-treat it before you wash it.  If all else fails, put a pin or patch over it and nobody will even notice!

Warm water will set the stain. You need to use icy cold water if you're going to hand wash it.  I would to that and then take it to the dry cleaners.
