How to wash hoodies without fading color?

i just got a yellow hoodie, a purple hoodie, and a gold and blue cardigan from american apparel and i wanna know what to wash them in so they don't fade

wash in cold water and use woolite for colors

Use either mild baby soap or woolite.. Also it is best to hand wash not machine... Unless you have a delicate cycle on your machine

for my american apparel hoodie i use detergent specifically made for bright colours and was it inside out with the zipper up  (it preserves the colour so it doesnt fade)
