How to wash (inside) rollerblades and get rid of the stink?

I often go rollerblading.I have now my rollerblades about 3 years.And they stink like h**l and i don't know how to wash them from the inside an get rid of the unpleasant smell.And what can i do to prevent the unpleasant smell.

  2. Wash them with dishwashing liquid and lots of water.  Work the soap into the padding well and rinse out well.  Try doing that a couple times.  

    If that doesn't do it, use some "scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner"  It is more agressive on oils that can hold odors.

    If that doesnt' work enough, fall back to something like fabreeze that covers up odors.

    To keep them from comming back, get your skates dry quickly.  Don't leave them in a bag.  If you wear cotton socks, they will take a significant amount of sweat out when you take the skates off.

    Go to a boot store and check if they have a spray for avoiding problems with boots smelling.

    I have a friend that gives each skate a small shot of Lysol spray every time he takes them off.
