I bought these shoes like a week ago from Payless.

And as soon as I wored them my first time of course they got dirty. I haven't worn them since because I don't know if I should wash them or clean them with a toothbrush. Can anybody please help me? I do not want them to get yellow. Do I put them in the washer? Do I wash them like if I was just washing regular clothes with the regular soap? Wash them alone? After do I dry them or no?

thankyou:)

  1. The same thing has happened to me before as well. This is what I did and it worked well.

    Washing your shoes

Simply throw them in the washing machine in a garment bag after you've removed a lot of the excess gunk.

    To Dry the shoes.

For sneakers and canvas shoes, after washing, place them in the sun to dry. You don't want to put them in the dryer, lest they shrink, which does happen. For other types of shoes, place them on a piece of paper or a towel, so they don't come into contact with any surfaces and any polish you missed potentially rub off on anything.

  2. Put them in the washing machine with regular soap and regular clothes - like towels and things.  I wouldn't put them in the dryer in case they shrink.  But I have put shoes like that in my dyer and they didn't shrink, I'm just saying that to make sure they don't shrink let them air dry.
