How to wear engagment, wedding and eternity rings.

in what order would you wear these rings.. or is it any order?.

Normally an eternity band would go on over your engagement ring, which is over your wedding band.

However, this may depend upon the style of the rings.

For me, the anniversary band my husband chose only looks right if it is under the wedding band, because it's a chevron (vee-shape).

Wedding ring goes on first so it is closest to your heart then engagement ring...  I've never heard of an eternity ring though so i guess that goes on last?

In the UK we tend to wear the wedding ring all the time and therefore the first on the finger and nearest the knuckle. Eternity ring usually next and engagement ring third.

The wedding band goes on first, closest to the heart.  The engagement ring would go on next, to be worn when you want to "dress-up" your finger, or when you just feel like wearing it.  The eternity ring would go on last, or be worn on the right-hand ring finger (an additional option for the e-ring).

For the ceremony, the engagement ring is removed from the left hand and either tucked or sewn into the bodice of your gown, kept by the MOH, or worn on the right hand until after the ceremony, at which time it is placed back on the left-hand ring finger over the wedding band prior to the reception.

In centuries past, there was only one ring, plus a plain band of iron, silver, or in rare cases gold, which was worn when in the home.  The true betrothal ring was worn in public.

You wear your wedding band and then engagement ring...the eternity band doesn't really make a difference where you wear it. "Eternity band" is just the name for the ring w/diamonds that are all the way around the band.
