Question:

How to wear golf bag straps?

I've just bought a new golf bag and foolishly didn't wear the thing before I bought it. It has two separate shoulder straps, rather the the single double-strap on my old bag. I'm getting into a fankle trying to figure out the right way to get it on. It's an Izzo Venture bag. If anyone can post a photo with a front and rear view I would be very grateful.

  1. You strap the bag on like a backpack.  The clubs are carried horizontally.  Your bag may have a padded area to cushion your back from the weight of the clubs. On my bag, a Srixon, I put my right arm through the top strap and then my left arm through the other one.

Here is a link to photo I found.  Hope it helps.

  2. You put it on like a backpack

  3. If you purchased it from a nearby shop, why not go there and have them explain the manner in which the straps should be adjusted, where the bag should rest on your backside, and the proper way of getting into and out of the harness. It doesn't appear that you have to be a " rocket scientist " to figure that out.

  4. So if your a right handed the club head should be just right next to your right elbow and vice versa if your left handed. Its easier if somebody will adjust it for you while wearing it. Good Luck!
