  1. Pony tail and tie the hanging into a plait so it doesn't knot.

Or tie it into a bun (brush it as if it's going into a pony tail, twist it, coil it around and put a band around the bun)

  2. a tight bun or one braid

  3. Yes, a tight braided bun, or I have worn two french braids with a middle part, just make sure it's nice and tight!  Even after you get your swim cap, a tight bun is a good idea. :)  The more you can keep that hair away the better!

  4. french baraid

  5. i always put mine in a ponytail.... as long as its tied up it helps

  6. High pony-tail works as well as braids, buns, and side pony tail. I don't prefer bun because if you where a bun you have hair spray bobby pins and sometimes a bun net that goes over your bun and that might pollute the pool and air.

  7. What I see long haired friends do when I swim is either a simple ponytail (if your hair is all one length), or french twist if your hair is different lengths (long layers or something).

  8. braid and then bunning it. or make a bun and net it.

  9. Don't go braides, buns, or long they mess up your hair. What you need to wear is a ponytail or pigtails.

  10. even while you're wearing your swim cap, i would put your hair in a ponytail, then wrap the ponytair around the base of that and tie it up. it stays really well

  11. either a pony or a bun

i would pick a bun that way your hair wouldnt get in the way

  12. tie it up tight til you get a swim cap...

  13. Definetly not a messy bun.. my hair was a mess after that.. Down is OK for me but it still gets alittle knotty after swimming. I agree with the braiding thing i have to try that.

  14. very tight bun.i'm on a swim team too, but i wear a cap, even under the cap i have my hair in a very tight bun.

  15. braid.

  16. A French Braid would do the trick because it keeps your hair tied up (with no knots!). It won't come undone either because it goes all the way up your hair.
