i love makeup! i love how it makes me look but my mom doesn't let me wear it because "it makes me look older and unnatural" (doesn't she know that's the whole point?) the only way i could ever wear makeup is if it looks natural. HELP! (my colors are blacks, blues, purples, etc.)

  1. Wear mineral foundations or liquid if you really know what you are doing and how to blend it, then use lighter shadows and darker liners if you want to use darker colors, although I wouldn't recommend using your blacks, blues, and purples as your shadow.

  2. if you want to look "natural" your colors should be golds and neutrals... earthy tones like browns and greens.

  3. ok i have just the thing. for eye liner go with a pencil, liquid is much bolder, i really like, Expert Wear® Soft Lining Pencil by maybelline new york. for mascara it is really hard to find one with no clumps. i use define-a-lash (also by maybelline new york) you can go with volume or my personal favorite, their lengthening mascara. either one leaves no clumps and is just about as natural looking as you can get! for shadows, you could stick to your blacks blues and purples but browns and tans would look alot more natural. if you wear foundation or blush go with bare minerals. its all natural and blends into your face.

  4. Well the plain truth is that you cannot achieve a natural look with lots of makeup. I would switch to bare minerals makeup. It is based exactly to make your makeup seem natural. It may be a little more expensive, but it is really good for your skin, and it helps clear acne. Your mom would love that for you. Look it up on-line

  5. The secret to wearing make up is to make it look like you aren't wearing any!

Don't use ridiculous colors like blacks and blues and purples.

try browns, taupes and pinks. Go easy on the eyeliner and mascara. Too much makes you look scary.

  6. First off I think that it's great that you love makeup!

I don't know your skin complexion or eye color but in general pastels in peach, and apricot look natural . also (for a darker complexion) coco, mocha, and light browns work. and champagne works well for anyone! and try using less shimmery products if you want shine go for cream based shadows! Oh and to tone down black makeup just use less of it, meaning making your eyeliner a thinner line! you dont have to change how much but color choice makes a big difference and also where it's placed(i.e. not putting dark colors in your crease and putting lighter colors on the inner corner of your eye) and one last thing switching to a lighter eyeliner then black helps too!

    * hope i helped*

  8. Why would you want to wear lots of it just to look natural?  Guys hate lots of makeup...it's a real turnoff.

  9. Guys don't like a lot of makeup - I have heard this from a lot of guys.  If that's a concern I don't know.  The main thing is to accent a good feature but not too many at once.  Also to cover what doesn't look good.  If you have great eyes maybe have fun with a colored eyeliner once in a while, but then don't put a bright color on your lips.  Then one day wear a brighter color on your lips but wear a brown eyeliner.  There are tons of tips online.  If you are in your teens and twenties it's best to let your natural glow shine through while you have it.  If your skin is ruddy then maybe you need a light foundation, like the mineral ones suggested.  I'm 40 and still don't wear much makeup because I'm very fair-skinned and look like a clown with too much stuff.  I like a natural look - foundation, cover up if needed, a little pink blush, brown eyeliner, black-brown mascara, and a light lipstick (usually pink).

  10. You can go online to youtube and look for make up tutorials and see which one fits your interest

  11. wear mascara and light purple or pink eyeshadow, and wear some blush foundation if you have to and some simple llipgloss no eyelineer to extreme

  12. you can use a foundation liquid first

    then use a natural rush

    a gray eyeshadow

    a black eyeliner liquid and

    natural brown lipstick

you dont have to wear heavy make up to be beautiful with heavy make up you might make yourself look ugly not beautiful
