  1. Do you mean how to wheelie ?

Well best answer is dont XD

Watch clips on youtube and youll find out why

  2. Hi, 5th gear wheelie?

The only way to be in 5th gear wheelie is to pop it up in 2nd and then ride it out through the gears.

Depending on the bike size, everybody has different opinions on clutched wheelies and power wheelies.

Most modern 600cc+ sports bikes will power up in 1st/2nd gear. Then again some older 750's wont ie GSXR 750 srad.

I prefer clutching it up, although a little more violent its easier because you dont need to be going quickly or have a long stretch off road.

Put it in second, quarter of throttle until about 4-6k revs, slip the clutch while accelarating at the same time and the front will come up no probs. Then just back off the throttle a touch. To start with it will feel really high but the wheel is probably only 12 inches off the ground and you will panic and crunch it back down. Keep trying until you get it near the balance point and always cover the rear brake, any probs shut off power or touch brake and down you will come.

(Based on a new GSXR 600 - if you have a litre bike etc you will have to play around to find the ideal rpm and throttle position)

Once you have mastered this, at the balance point you can change up a gear, no clutch needed. Just positively select third. Once you can do this you can take it all the way up to 6th if desired. But remember to get into 5th or 6th depending on bike you will be at over 100mph.

If you intended to go up the gears dont start the wheelie off in 1st as its so easy to get a false 2nd gear and hit neutral with no clutch and you will come down hard. Popped a fork seal and race bearing doing this on a bandit in the past

No need to go past 3rd to be honest sitting nicely at 60-70mph.

When you want to come back down, ease of the throttle a little and as the bike starts to drop roll on the throttle again slightly to bring it down controlled and smooth.

Also one last tip, if you havent got one get a steering damper to stop potential tank slappers

  3. How to wheel a bike??

Do you meean wheelie? Look up  online for courses    like ' wheelie school' or look on You tube as there may be some  videos which explain how to do a  wheelie.

Or push it around? pull the clutch in

  4. The only way its possible to wheelie a bike in 5th on most is either a huge rear sprocket (look at stunters rides) or add NOS , turbo or other high end mods.

Basically you need either seriously low gearing or loads of power.

I have a 50 bhp shot of Nitrous and mine wont wheelie in 5th , but with lower gearing it would.

    Hope this helps ,

    Alan

  5. Well h**l, why not try for 6th gear? As odd of a question this may be, Ill answer it anyways....

First off, if you envision yourself pulling it up in 5th gear, youre delusional. Not to say you cannot ride a wheelie in 5th gear, you can, but you must ride through your gears, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and finally 5th..all while maintaining your balance point. Much harder for a novice rider, most likely beyond most skills of the average rider.

Why in gods name are you concerned with wheelies in 5th gear is beyond me, if you have to ask that then its safe to assume you do not ride wheelies in any gear at this point, so focus on actually learning the art of handling a bike before stunting it. Ive been riding 27 years, ride a wheelie till im blue in the face, but I STILL learn something new every week. Theres soo much more to being a skilled rider than wheelies, basically a wheelie is a lame stunt to begin with, anyone can do it with practice, just not everyone makes it to graduation.

Learn to control your bike, learn to brake hard, those are skills that are much much harder to learn and will save your life. trust me, rookies tend to freeze and not know what to do when a situation calls for evasive action, most lock up the rear brake and forget all about the front. Or they apply soo much front brake that once slowed a bit they forget to let off thus allowing you once again manuever the bike out of harms way...see, theres a ton of thing you should be more concerned about than 5th gear wheelies.......

Last but not least, if you MUST try this, I suggest you go get yourself a 64 tooth rear sprocket and a 17 tooth in the front.....its a guaranteed trip to the hospital but you will get your 5th gear wheel.
