This is only my first seasn but I feel my bike control is good enough to do these things...after all i'm doing some random *** stuff on my push bike now and it does give u confidence on ur mx bike too!!!

Basically how do you wheelie a 125cc motocross bike?

Please answer the following:

- Where shud u sit on the bike

- How many revs, and what gear?

- How do u get it up in the first place, and how shud i maintain it (revs-wise)

I can do it going up a rise for example and make it last for a fair while but not on flat ground. Thank you for the help!

  1. you can't pop a wheelie on a dirt bike by just giving it a lot of gas that's if you are on a street bike

on a dirt bike you have to pop the clutch in 1st or 2nd gear (better in 1st cause of more horsepower) and then once your up you just balance the bike with the gas and while you are doing this you should be siting in the middle cause if you are up to far it will just make it harder on yourself to pop the wheelie and if you are to far back then do to the laws of gravity it will be easy to bring the bike back to far and end up on the ground with a bike on top of you

  2. LEAN BACK A BIT AND GIVE IT A FISTFULL AND IF IT STARTS TO COME UP A BIT MUCH USE YOUR BACK BRAKE TO CONTROL IT

  3. it dosent matter! if you lean foreward it requires more throttle if you lean back it requires less. as fare as what gear depends on what kind of bike you have and what spead you are going. put it in 1st and pop the clutch!

  4. Lean back and give it a big hand full!

It’s a balancing act to start off you need to sit well back on the seat and apply power in a low gear. Once the wheel leaves the ground you need to transfer your weight forward so as not to fall off the back.

  5. weight to back of bike,

    plenty of revs in 1st/2nd

release the clutch quickly and pull back your weight at the same time - nose of bike will rise - now, feather the throttle and break to keep wheelie up.

    easy peasy

  6. lean back a tad , second gear, pop the clutch, it'll come up, and as it does, keep revin till ur front ends up, if u start to go vertical and u think ur gonna fall lay off, lay of the gas and tap the rear break and it should bring u down
