How to wire a car cd player to a car?

the car is a toyota corolla 1991 model i got a new cd player but i dont know what wires go with what wire what coloured wire from the cd player go with what wires in the car. should the colours match or not

yaa..... if u don't know what ur doing, stop and find someone that does, even if its best buy, atleast track down the wire maps so u don't fry anything

go to your local audio shop or bestbuy and buy a wiring harness designed for your vehicle.

this is just a plastic plug and at the other end has all the wires that attach to any stereo. the wires are already color-coded so they will match any aftermarket stereo.

buy one, they are not expensive at all.. plus it makes the installation much faster, safe, and you know it will work. because its just not safe to cut into the original wires in your vehicle. plus... all the wires in there will not match the color-coded wires in the stereo.
