  1. The line/hot lead goes to the jumper or common side of the switch. the whites are all connected and the switch legs go to other 2 terminals.  The bare is to the ground terminal on the switch, and all of the grounds are connected together so one ground wire goes to the box and another goes to the switch. This is if the feed wire goes to the switch box and a 3c/wg goes to the light.  If the feed is at the light then the hot lead goes to the common terminal, the white gets marked with a tape wrap and the 2 switched leads go to the other terminals. The grounds all connect and are tied to the ground s***w and the box if it is metal.

  2. Your question isn't clear to me.  A 2 pole switch would be like a 4-way switch.  If you are referring to a switch that actually has two switches on it - built like a dual outlet but each is a switch, then you wire each of them like a normal switch.  Usually they have the input side tied together so you can run just one hot lead to the switch and it has two switched outputs.  Here's an article on how to wire most single pole switches.  http://www.indepthinfo.com/wire-switch/i...

  3. black and or red to hot...white to commen green to ground
