I have a 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria with the Premium sound package. I went to the local audio shop and they don't know what wiring harness I should use. It says for 1983-89 Crown Victoria or 1990-91 LTD Crown Victoria so it leaves mine out. Any advice?

  1. Buy a 25.00 fm transmitter from this link http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/...

It will broadcast your mp3 or cd player to your radio wirelessly.  :)

  2. Get a wiring harness from the internet. There are tons out there and it will probably be cheaper than buying one from a store. If you don't know how to wire it yourself make sure you have a shop do it unless you can find a wiring diagram. Another solution is that some shops can use the wires that already come from the back of the radio and wire it into a jimmy rigged wiring harness. It would work just a well, but you have to know what you're doing to make it work. I would stay away from those wireless radio transmitters. They are buggy and not worth it. Worst case scenario, upgrade your head unit. You can get decent ones for a few hundred bucks or less, and it would be way easier to  hook up auxilliary sources.
