  1. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family always. I hope that you have a speedy recovery.

    Kindest Regards,

  2. A heartfelt note would be most appreciated from anyone battling cancer.  My stepmom was sick with breast cancer, and many friends stopped calling her because I feel that they weren't sure how to act or what to say.

I would wish them well and let them know if they ever need any help or support or a shoulder to cry on that you'll be there for them.  Remind them how strong they are, and that everything will be okay.

It's wonderful that you are sending them well wishes, it really does help.

  3. My friend just went through cervical cancer,  I bought her 3 pink roses and a card that told her I was thinking of her.  I don't know how well you know this person.  So it's hard for me to say exact words for a card.

  4. ~~ I think the best thing is a cheerful, upbeat card to let them know you are thinking of them and would love to be of any help if needed. My Uncle went through this, he hated sad, melancholy cards, but appreciated just the recognition of us thinking of him. Of course visiting as often as possible is great too. It's a long, lonely, disease so company is appreciated.~~

  5. Get a card that has no words and put in your own as....FROM SOMEONE WHO CARES.....I am thinking of you......people love you for who you are.....good thoughts and good wishes to you...Hope this helps you.  I hope they do get well.  Have a good day from Sandy. Australia.

  6. there are no words.

Think you at his situation, will you like to get some strangers card saying sympathetic words? You make him your friend if you are concerned, it will be worth a million cards :-)

  7. The simpler the better, just say "Get well soon"

  8. Congrats!

  9. Most of the people in my dept sent me get well cards; you just say you're thinking of them and are there for them. Some came to the hospital (Stage III uterine cancer) some were waiting for me at work.

  10. Dear Boris(or whatever his name is)

Sending you best wishes for a speedy recovery and hoping you feel better soon.

Will be in to see you as soon as possible.

All our friends at work have asked me to tell you the same!

    Regards

    Athena(whatever your name is)

  11. You should get her a few balloons, chocolate or something (to cheer her up).

The card could say "Thinking of you", "Keep fighting through it".

Or, better yet, just don't even mention they have cancer. Why would somebody with terminal cancer want to be reminded that they have it? Write something like "Hope you have a great day", if you dont want to mention their illness.
