How to work out the distance between two full UK postcodes?

I have all the UK address postcodes in a database file (not the street names though). I want to work out the distance between two postcodes. I also have all long' and lat' data. Using this, I know how to work out the distance as the crow flies, but i want to work it out so it is more accurate. Does anyone know how to do it? any programming language is fine. Would really appreciate the help. Thankyou!! I will be posting all UK postcode addresses soon for everyone to have.

  1. google maps ;)

get directions then it tells you the miles between the postcodes

  2. http://www.theaa.com/travelwatch/planner...

put both postcodes in and it'll tell you the exact distance :)

  3. Not sure EXACTLY what you're trying to do but I use this:  http://www.multimap.com/directions/

  4. Download google earth, its free, you can put 2 postcodes in, it will tell you the distance and how long it takes to get there, also directions

  5. Don't know if you mean this, but can't you just put in the Long. and Lat. coordiantes into this website and work it out?

  6. just find out which postcodes correspond to what then look it up on AA route finder
