  1. I stand it up straight and bring the paper up over the handle and either

    - selotape it at the top

-or tie a ribbon round the top

-or put the excess paper inside the mug and cover the top with a small piece of paper so you can't see the other paper squashed inside

    :)

  2. You didn't mention shipping, so I assume you just need to protect them during hand-carrying and opening. What has worked well for me with glassware and china is to wrap each piece in bubble-wrap and then place in a regular giftbag or giftbox, with a layer or two of bubble-wrap in the bottom. Put packing between the pieces, if needed, so they don't shift around and bang together. If the bare bubble wrap seems too institutional to you, you can overwrap it with colorful tissue. Wrap the box or decorate the bag as you normally would.

  3. In my experience, a few years back, I took some paper towls and wrapped it three times, then I got some starophoam and cut it so the cup would fit down in it (it's not hard, it's actually pretty simple).  Then once I did that, I found a box, wrapping paper and then it looked like a regular present.

  4. just put it in a fansy bag with some tishu paper or something soft so they dont break!
