How to write a DVD?

Hi ,

I downloaded a Movie from some where which is in MKV format ,

then I tried to change it to AVI by using a MKV to AVI converter .... but still I can not put the movie on the DVD ...!

Can some one out there help please........!

use cyberlink power producer..... the software lets you convert any .avi movies or others to a dvd(4.7 GB or dual layer) ^^

it also writes the dbd immediately after converting ^^
