How to write a Thank You card for our engagement party?

The thing is everyone one gave us money and a card. So how do we say thank you in our cards and can we write the samething in every card????

You can totally write the same thing in every card. But send it out right away!

Generally you would want to say something like "Thank you for your generous gift. We plan to spend it on..."

It is best to personalize your note in some small manner, like "It was great seeing both of you and your daughter, Jenny.  Thanks for travelling all the way from <...> to make it for the engagement party. We can't wait to see you again at the wedding next summer!"

We just finished sending ours out.  Of course, some deserved a more personal touch, but our basic thank you was:

Thank you so much for the generous gift and for celebrating this exciting time in our lives.  It was so nice to see you and we can't wait to celebrate again in (wedding month)!

You may want to personalize it a little bit for each card. Like if you know they have a child say: "I hope Bob is doing well". or "I really like the dress you wore to the party" or "Please pet <their pet's name> for me!"
