  2. a letter alone is not going to work, he needs to prove he has met her in person within the last two years.  the last letter i helped with like that just basically stated that as couples they were all acquainted with each other and had personal knowledge of the relationship, how, when and where it developed and resulted in a proposal of marriage.

  3. If you're talking about financial support, there is a specific form for that, although it isn't mandatory. However, it will be required later on when filing the immigration paperwork in the US after the wedding.

  4. He doesn't have to acknowledge any form of relationship at this stage. All he has to prove at the moment is that:

You and your fiancé(e) intend to marry within 90 days of your fiancé(e) entering the United States, and are both free to marry, and have met in person within two years before your filing of this petition unless:

The requirement to meet your fiancé(e) in person would violate strict and long-established customs of your or your fiancé(e)'s foreign culture or social practice; or

It is established that the requirement to personally meet your fiancé(e) would result in extreme hardship to you.
