I have tested using 3 different recipes of Glue, water and borax solution to make what is called glubber, i have recorded the different wieghts, colours, smells and textures for each recipe and done a bounce and shape retention test. how can i summarize this in a hypothesis ?

  1. At this point, you aren't looking for a hypothesis, you're looking for a conclusion.  What did the results turn up?  What was different about the weights and other measurements on the three different recipes?

How you should have done the hypothesis:  Make a prediction about what you expect the results to be.  It can be very simple:  "I predict that adding more borax will let the glubber retain its shape better."  It can be very specific:  "I predict that using 20% more glue will allow glubber to bounce 40% higher."  It doesn't even need numbers:  "I predict that using more water will turn the glubber blue."

The only constraint is that the hypothesis MUST be something you're doing the experiment on - if you aren't going to measure how fast it dissolves in milk, then don't do that for a hypothesis.

Tip:  Do not, at this stage, make your hypothesis the same as your conclusion.  That makes it very obvious that you did the hypothesis "after the fact".
