you write the letter yourself! Its not that hard. Just make sure in the letter mention the fact that you will take care of all her expenses while she is in the UK and that you will be her sponsor. Give the address of where she will be staying at and make sure when she flies in, she uses the same address on the form that's given to her on the plane to complete before landing. This form is then handed to the immigration officer and then the immigration officer will ask her a bunch of easy questions, unless she looks suspicious. Then they'll try to trick you up...lol. I love London! Alot of my family lives there and I frequent there alot. She'll love it....cheers! =)

You can not write it yourself, my dear you need some professional assistance for this. You should go to court complex in your area select some government approved professional/advocate to write a sponsorship/invitation letter for you. Take along your residence proof salary certificate/slip, bank account details and prepare your papers and get them attested at the government approved notary/advocate.

After completing all the formalities make one photocopy of the same, send original one to the person you want to invite and let that person apply for the visa on the basis of this document, keep photocopy with you as a proof.

You just can not write a letter and go to Embassy to invite a person, you have to follow the proper procedure.
