How to write a letter to alert apartment manager that I will be renewing my lease?

In my renting experience - the management always sent me a notice indicating that my lease would be expiring soon, any increases, and that if I wanted to renew I need not do anything. I was only required to take action if I did not want to renew. Contact your leasing office, they will gladly answer your questions.

Have they sent you a renewal letting you know what the rent will be? If so just call them and let them know you want to come down and sign it and ask when is a good time?
