How to write an article on Ideas are the root of creation?

I've never heard of ideas being the root of creation; here, people'd say "Necessity is the root of creation".

I guess you write it just the same as you'd write any other essay. For me that means: brainstorm, read, re-read, select references and make notes, write first draft, re-write draft, re-re-write draft ad infinitum until satisfied (or until mum issues various assorted threats, all starting with "if I see you working on that any longer, I swear I will....), write up finished article.

Or simply follow whatever essay-writing system you've developed for yourself.
