How to write the good article in the newspaper?

i really dont have any idea.. my letcure ask their student to write an article in newspaper about case murder.. but i dont have any idea.. my brain really on stuck... any suggestion... really appreciate u're help

Since it is about a murder, start at once with the basic information: who was killed, who killed him and in what method, at where and when.

Use this as a format if you like:

Yesterday, 7:00 AM, X was repeatedly stabbed in the chest by Y causing the latter's immediate death at 1 McDonner Avenue, New Pork City.

Then go to a more meaty part describing the whole event:

X and Y were reportedly engaged in a drinking spree when X made a bad remark about Y's wife causing Y to return another bad remark on X's wife. This ensued to a sparring of foul words between the two.

Y was seen by eyewitnesses go to his house and return with a kitchen knife which he used to repeatedly stab a groggy X.

Y was still shouting at the already lifeless X when authorities arrived after a neighbor alerted them.

Y was sent to prison where he would spend n years.
