How to you feel about this??

Question

ok so just a few days ago my brother said "women are stupid". i don't know if he meant it as a joke or for real, but either way it offended me and got me really mad. and by that happening it brought up how guys treat me at school. its mostly when it comes to sports activities, and its when guys take control of the team and don't allow the girls in. and if they do they go easy. so i have to prove myself that i can be just as good, even better that them. it bugs me so much. i know age might matter, for maturity level, but still... so has anyone ever heard something like that from a man, boy, guy what ever. or been treated different just because of being a girl, lady, women. or something similar. if u have then what did u think about it?

and i posted it in this section cuz i figured it mostly happens around this age... so sorry if u think its the wrong section

i don't really care. because we had a speaker come to our school last year. and he admitted women are ACTUALLY smarter than men.

he brought a chair on stage. and he asked the guys 'What colour is this chair?' the majority of guys answered "Blue."

he then said "ladies, what colour is this chair?" and all of the girls answered 'baby blue'. He said see, women are smarter then men.

it bothers me SO SO SO much!! i hate it when guys say stuff like that about girls without getting to know them and their abilities.  i suppose you could say i'm a feminist, i guess i am.  but women are totally equal to men in every way, and we deserve recognition for it.  

i didn't particularly support hilary clinton, but i really admired her for running against all those guys.  she took a lot of sh*t for being a woman, but she proved she could stand it.  she was a real ground breaker for women's political rights.

Yes, it makes me mad too.  Look what happens when we let the guys run everything.  Gee, I think we could do better.

I don't know why men think they are better. Think about it: they think they can rule the world. They think they are smarter, more functional, etc. I know some guys are sweet, and they believe in equality. I admire them, but men were first to rule, they were first to vote, and more. But why? I don't think a woman should be able to make history by becoming president, I think it should be casual, and I think people should say its about time. We all know the only difference in men and women, and I don't think it should influence all this.

My sister told me about an upsetting story like this as well.

She has this hilarious teacher who cracks jokes like every five seconds. Someone said,

"Hey, Mr. G, Tell us a joke."

And he said, "Women's Rights."

For some reason that made my sister mad, and it made me mad when I heard it. It's not something to joke about, and I totally get where you are going.

just ask yourself: "why is it a problem if a guy hits a girl VS a girl hitting a guy?"  the answer to that question might answer yours.

For Centuries Men have put themselves as superior to women.  But they are only superior in things that they are capable of doing Vs. what a woman can do regarding size, muscles and power, or control.

Men have always been raised to believe that they are the superior being.

but, not always true,  Depending on the woman, I know that some women can out do men in many activities or sports or what have ya.

I think that men may have a stronger physical structure, but when it comes to inner strength, we have them beat hands down.

woman go thru child birth, Men could never deal with that much blood or pain.

We have our natural instincts,  Women's intuition, but most men just have that ego thing going on.
