How to zoom in clearly on something in front of you with finepix F10 digital camera?

It shows clearly until I focus on a computer screen, which goes all blurry. How do I adjust this ( I'm filming a computer screen)

Next to the bottom right of the LCD screen is a little flower.  Push the round button next to that to put it in macro mode.  If you are shooting from a certain distance, you'll get weird color patterns.  You'll have to try a different distance.  I have an F10 and I was able to do it from an inch away as long as there's something (like a letter) to focus on.  Just focusing on a background pattern didn't work.
