ok so here's the deal. i have a 1yr old baby(ish) goat. he's MY baby. but last night i noticed his Bleat was weird. I found out he isnt able to chew his food or swallow. my dad took a look we think it might b something in his throat. he's stumbling around and drooling (lack of food) i've been giving him Karo Syrup. he likes it and licks it. but he's still not doing so great. my opt for him at the vet is at 3:30pm tomorrow. he's shivering a lot too. what else can i do to keep him alive until tomorrow????? please! i am in desperate need of help!!!!!!

  1. Provided he is getting plenty of water, he will not starve to death in one day.  If you are really worried, you may want to see if you can get worked in as an emergency appointment.  If you feel it is a life or death situation, the vet will work you in.

  2. make sure you keep him warm so he doesn't use energy to do that but not hot so he isn't sweating and using valuable hydration, and also call the vet and ask for an emergency appointment...
