Question:

How too prepare for nursing school???

I'm in High-school and I need to know how I can start preparing for nursing school.. now? I'm going to be an RN (Registered Nurse)

And I'm a Junior (as of this school year) and I wanted too know if anyone could tell me what I can start doing now too prepare myself and start learning now!!

I'm already scared//nervous because I'm afraid I'm not prepared enough.

  1. You can start by volunteering in a local hospital. It will give you an insight into how a hospital works and also looks great on any college application. Be sure you take Human Biology & Physiology if your high school offers it. Make sure your GPA is at least 3.0 or better. Other than that, there really isn't much you can do to prepare yourself. You can always to ask a career counsellor and see if you can get a job shadow day in with a nurse and see if you really want to be a RN for a good portion of your life. Hope this helps! The aforementioned is what I did during my junior/senior and first 2 years of Science undergrad years before I got admitted into the Nursing program.
