  1. you'll be fine, my dad is 51 and tiny (5'10", 150lbs) and he plays occasionally.

  2. rugby is tough. Rugby league is tougher but its a shhit shhit shhit compared to union. League fans always coment on how touch they are but theyr too pusssy to even have competed scrums, rucks and mauls. league is g*y and for losers with no brains.

    play union = D

  3. oh boy!! i think you should be nervous b/c your gonna play rough. its even rough then football so take care see you in heaven

  4. Rugby union is $hit and soft. Rugby league is a real mans game

  5. U shouldn't be nervous

It should be funn if it is ur first time hehe

  6. Don't be worried!!All the ruggers i know are really nice.Don't worry about your size your fine.

Some tips:1.Look to your teammate before passing

2.Go low for tackles(If your chasing, aim for the knees)

3.Get a really good warm up and stretching before

    4.Remember to wear a mouthguard

    5.HAVE FUN

  7. nah, just get angry, pick up the ball and run. Aggression is a great thing to have in rugby

  8. the great thing about rugby is the clubs are often set up so anyone at almost any age or skill can come out have fun and a few beers prepare to have some fun

  9. I suggest hooking up with your local rugby club and learning the game first.  If I knew where you were, I could tell you what club that would be.  Google your city + rugby.  If that doesn't work, Google your state + rugby to find your Local Area Union.  The LAU should have links to the various teams.  Find the closest one, find out when practices are and show up.  As they are probably playing 7's now, it'd be a great time to learn the basics of the game.

  10. i don't think you will be thrown into many situations where you could get badly hurt if your just begining with Rugby. Depends on what kinds stuff they have you do. The worse that could happen if your playing Union is getting stood and stamped on in a ruck, and a few fists flying in the mauls. But if it's only a learning session they should teach you how to tackle properly so you don't injure yourself.

If you end up playing League, well some baboon will come in with a high tackle and take your head off which seems to be a rule for the apes that play it
