How true are psychics??

Question

i recently went to a fair where i decided to get a psychic reading done. i heard a lot that i wanted without giving the psychic any information, but i'm not sure if it was real or fake.. i dont understand how psychics do what they do and i want to be able to decipher whether a psychic is legit or not..

Take a look at this link about subjective validation. Since no "psychic" ability has ever be scientifically verified in the history of man, a little doubt is good.

Fake fortune tellers/psychics usually read your body language and eyes. They also give very general or broad information about your past, present or future.

Do you feel like the psychic told you some information that no one else would know? Or was it general stuff that could relate to anyone's life?
