  1. 0, although in the UK for example there isn't much need for it there are still areas where sexism towards women is happening. Also just because we are ok doesn't mean we should forget about all the other countries!!!

PS: It's like human rights, there are still people in different countries such as Iraq and Iran than are living in terrible coniditions. S just because we are ok doesn't mean we should ignore and not fight for other's causes.

  2. 9/10.

I would say 10, but some women are genuinely naive about the extremely sexist actions of the feminist movement.

I am for equal rights for women and strongly against the feminist movement.

  3. 10 for sure. The hardcore feminist are just like the African Americans and Hispanics, all they want to do is stop White Men from doing what they have been doing for thousands of years. These groups think that the White Man is ruining things but after so many years of being in charge White Men have done a pretty d**n good job. This country used to be the most prosperous country in the world.

  4. 0. I am a feminist.

  5. I'm a feminist, and no, it's not true.

  6. 150.

I will hang myself before I become a manhating femminist.

  7. -10

    male feminist

  8. 0. It is not mutually exclusive, but neither is it a necessity. Most arn't sexist.

  9. 8- Feminism is a philosophy of self interest, so In that sense to be a feminist (and a woman) you have woman's (therefore your own) best interest in mind often at the expensive of the interest of men

    Conservative with some liberal tendencies

  10. To be a certain type of feminist requires you to be sexist, however, I can't express enough that there is more than one type of feminist, much like there is more than one type of Christianity.

So on a scale of 1-10, I would say that the quote is not very true, giving it a "1" as I do recognize that there are some very sexist feminists. (Think extremists who choose to only speak to women, only interact with women, and choose to cut men out of their lives completely. One feminist theorist actually stopped all contact with her former husband and son when she began practising this type of feminism.)

"Separatist feminism is a form of radical feminism that does not support heterosexual relationships. Its proponents argue that the sexual disparities between men and women are unresolvable. Separatist feminists generally do not feel that men can make positive contributions to the feminist movement and that even well-intentioned men replicate patriarchal dynamics" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminism#Ra...

While I acknowledge the type of feminism you speak of, and I acknowledge that there is some sexism, I firmly believe that every organization has some sort of discrimination and biases. The NAACP has an agenda for the rights of African American people. The Canadian Mental Health Association targets their information towards those suffering with mental illness. Feminists advocate the advancement of women, but feminism is not limited to that. There are many divisions of feminism that support full equality and emphasize the importance of a male in the home.

A Catholic person can have an entirely different belief system than someone who's Presbyterian, yet they both believe in God.

  11. 1 - feminist (but just for me)

I think most feminists would qualify as a 7

  12. 5

I think I feel I have to be sexist in order to prove to men we're just as intelligent and good as them. And what do men expect after YEARS of suppression? For me to just sit down and shut up? I don't think so.

Until inseccure men become clever enough to realise the real reasons for their sexism, I will continue to fight my corner brutally.
