Just purchased supermodel 155cm, '08 model. I am an intermediate rider, who normally rides in colorado, usually in december. I rarely do the parks, mostly blues and greens grooms. Will this board be to stiff or advanced for me? Or will it ok and still be a blast to ride?

  1. Ive never demoed one but it should be ok, Burton rate it as an intermediate to advanced all mountain/freeride board. It sounds like it will be a good board for you to progress on, Good luck.

  2. A board typically is never "too advanced" for a solid rider.  It could be "too stiff" but this is totally your preference.  If you are not into park, then it will likely be a fine board.  Not quite as tapered as the fish, it is more geared toward groomed cruising.  However, on those pow days it will more sink in the tail than a freestyle board making it easier to ride.  Yeah, you will still have a blast!

  3. It will be fine dude. The supermodel is made for POW POW and just cruizin. I think you will be aight.  Shouldnt be to stiff, but regardless every deck you get will take a little getting used to

    GOod luck mang
