How unhappy are the Panthers with Steve Smith?

Looking to get away from the Brett Favre talk a little bit...anyway, obviously Steve Smith apologized sincerely, and things are "back to normal". But do you think the Panthers are unhappy enough to do more than suspend him for two games?

No he's definitely suspended for only two games, i dont think the panthers were that mad they just felt they had to send a message to discourage these type of fights from occuring in the future

no he's a  franchise player

last time he got in a fight it was in the middle of the season and he got arrested and he was suspended for 1 game, this time its preseason and doesn't get arrested and its 2 games???? wtf is up with that

They suspended him so, I think they're little dissatisfied.

Exactly as Brian said. They had to give a message to the suits in the front office of the NFL showing that they will enforce their own players when they step out of line. But they certainly wont suspend one of the most exciting and best players for any longer then they have to.
