antivirusxp08 is actually not an antivirus software but is a rogue spyware usually installed through a trojan. Run a malicious software removal tool found on microsofts website microsoft.com. This should delete it but if it doesn't, install spyhunter on your computer, run a scan and find the location of the infection. Don't have spyhunter remove it for you because you have to pay for that feature, instead go to run and type in regedit.exe. This will give you access to the registry and you can search for the malicious files by typing in the adress that spyhunter gives and manually deleting the file. Be careful though because if you delete the wrong thing, it could cause system unstability which would be a real mess to fix. Hope this helps, I was infected with antivirusxp and it is really annoying.

Control panel>add remove prog>selec antivirusxp08.exe and uninstall it this is the best way.

now if you dont find antivirusxp08 in add reomove then the

go in start>prog?antivirusxp08 folder and find the click on uninstall icon.

if still cant then there will be a tool on website of antivirusxp08 to reove it u can try it also
