obviously everyone has bad luck; some on a greater scale than others.

right now i think ive got it bad, but know others have it much worse.

in my a levels i was 2 marks from an A in art, and 6 from an A in photography.

yesterday 2 friends told me they couldn't move in to the 4 bed flat me and another friend had just signed for. this wasted my time and money travelling around and searching for the perfect place. now i have to find a flat in under a month otherwise ill have to commute to university 2 hours there and back every single day.

is this classed as unlucky to you?

whats the most unlucky thing you have ever experienced? (even if its stupid) im interested xx

  1. Things that has not happened the way I wanted them to in the last years are:

My husband was in an accident at work and couldn't work for a year. His income is our only income.

Our oldest son was in an accident and was cut badly.

I've been diagnosed with several medical problems, all chronic and incurable, some really painful. On top of that I'm now ill again and the doctors are struggling to find what's wrong with me. The symptoms are very painful (on top of previous pain) and I find it difficult to walk. I also have problems with my eye sight and fear that I'm going blind.

Several close relatives has died, many of them close to my heart and I mourn them greatly.

Then, when my husband started working again he had a stroke. He survived, but he's not the same anymore.

The roof over the front porch is moldy and there is a water leak in the garage.

The fridge broke and the dishwasher is acting strangely.

... to name some of it.

It's problems, it's unfortunate but I'm not letting it get to me and keep me down. Life goes on no matter what we do, so I figure I'd rather do the best of it and enjoy what I can before it's too late.

Life is full of changes and if you think about it it's not good or bad it's just neutral. What makes things good or bad, lucky or unlucky, is how you look at it. If you let it be bad and see a problem in it then it will be bad.

    [Edit]

If you turn what you said around you'll see that you were lucky that your grades wasn't even lower for some reason, and that you were lucky to find that they couldn't move in before things had moved even further. You might have moved there only to find them moving out, that would have caused you even greater problems than the ones you have now. It's all about what angle you look at it from.
