When your entire being is wrapped up in hate filled theology like BLT you come to despise what you've been told is the enemy.  In this case She and her husband both believe this nation and it's population are the quintessential devil that has kept the black man down and are incapable of seeing that their party and the bigoted groups that represent blacks are actually at fault.

First, I don't understand why a person with an education has to be considered uppity.  If attending an Ivy League college is something to be ashamed of then there is something wrong.

As far as Michelle Obama hating America, she DOES NOT HATE AMERICA.  What's funny about it is I think that everyone knows she doesn't hate America.  She made the wrong choice of words during the statement to which you are referring.  

When I heard Michelle say "for the first time in my (her) life she was proud of her country,"  I know exactly what she meant.  She meant she is proud that the same America that took this land from the Indians and the same America that had slavery and a decade long civil rights movement is the same America that may possibly swear an African-American into the White House.

I think it's time to grow up people.  Most of us knew exactly what she meant.  Yet people still try to play stupid just because they don't like the Obama family (or the Democratic Party).  Just cast your vote and move on instead of acting like an idiot.
