it depends on how current the statistics are and their sources. because sources do not weigh equally. 1 source may have more credibility than the other.

meaning same data can be presented in different ways, less impact, more impact, emphasize one over the other etc.

Completely unreliable.  I can't even watch the news anymore.  The news people are only saying what they are told.  The head people and/or owners of every news station are involved in beginning a New World Order (NWO).  If people below them breach the the owners' trust, they will be fired and the the news station will find a replacement who is willing to say what the elites of the world want them to say.  All this is conjured up at secret meetings, such as the Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), and the Trilateral Commission.  Please do some research, as you will find that our own Government along with other elites of the world who are involved with media, corporations, politics, educational systems, etc. are all meeting for the benefit of themselves in an effort to develop a one world Government.  The news stations are one of the elites ways to brainwash us to proceed with their NWO.  Our freedoms are slowly being taken away, and it will soon be the end of the World as we currently know it, so we must stop them.
