How valuable are items that commemorate the apollo moon landing?

My father worked on the Apollo space project and has many items that were given only to the people who worked there, such as a zippo lighter (never been struck, or even filled with fluid still in box) a tie pin, cufflinks and other memorabilia. How valuable are these items and where do I get them appraised? (I live in phx, az)

  1. Try the link below.  However, without some sort of direct connection to a specific crew or a flight, I don't expect them to fetch much money.  They might be more valuable for sentiment; keep them in the family.
